Professor Louise Jones elected Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences

The Pathological Society of Great Britain and Ireland congratulates Professor Louise Jones on being elected Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences.
This prestigious recognition reflects Professor Jones’ outstanding contribution to breast pathology, genomic medicine, digital pathology and AI driven cancer research, as well as her national leadership in modernising pathology and advancing precision medicine.
Professor Jones is Professor of Breast Pathology at Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London, honorary consultant histopathologist at Barts Health NHS Trust, Chief Scientific Officer of PharosAI, and Editor in Chief of The Journal of Pathology.
Her work continues to shape the future of pathology through innovation in molecular pathology, genomics and AI enabled cancer care, alongside her dedication to education, training and patient involvement in research.
We warmly congratulate Professor Jones on this well deserved honour and recognition by the Academy of Medical Sciences.
