The Society offers a generous range of grants to support high quality research in pathology and travel to encourage collaboration and the learning of new techniques. These range from supporting PhD students and clinical fellowships,  the funding of small projects and support for undergraduate students with an interest in pathology.

The Society has also enstated a series of lectures and awards to recognise significant contributions in the field of pathology and related subjects.
